THE NEW CD IS HERE !!!

Happy belated Thanksgiving, my Irrational friends. I hope you and your loved ones wore out the elastic on your sweatpants.

The premiere album from Irrational Public Radio is here.
"Good morning. You Smell Nice."
contains a few fave snippets from the podcast, but more importantly,
has over 35 minutes of brand new material that has not, nor ever will be, part of the free podcast. And it's now on sale for yourself and/or for a holiday gift.

Take a listen here

We'll be continuing with our podcast as well, but this will be the first of (hopefully) many CDs. Thanks for all of your support, for spreading the good irrational word, for being patient between podcast episodes, and for not file-sharing the CD (a humble request).

Thank you all :)

Hello my beautiful, irrational readers/listeners :

Got a new podcast episode for ya (thanks for being patient).

For some reason, whereas most aggregators seem to dig my RSS feed and update just fine, Yahoo Podcasts only registers the first 5 episodes. Any RSS-savvy people out there want to check out my feed source code and give me some clues as to why this is? If you can solve it, I'll put your name in the next episode.

Also, I'm walking in AIDS Walk Los Angeles in October, and I'd love your support. It is, if this needs to be said, a very worthy cause. More info here.

Cheers,

Joe

Limerick Winner

The winner of the IPR Finish-the-Limerick contest is Jason AKA Gorilla Sushi, and it goes a little something like this;

There once was a friendly marshmallow,

fell in love with a dish of green jello.

They had children aplenty

But once they hit twenty

Their flavor did notably mellow

I liked this one especially because it stuck to the theme, and fit perfectly into the meter of the limerick. Honorable mention goes to Dave for :

...they were eaten by Nobel laureate Saul Bellow.

for, yes, mentioning Saul Bellow.

Jason/Gorilla Sushi wins the attached custom IPR portrait, as well as a mention (in some context) in the next IPR podcast episode.
Stay Irrational, my babies.
